Meet The Bees

Nikki opened the Beehive in 2011 after working as a master stylist in several salons in the area.  With over 30 years experience she can be found managing the salon and behind the chair Tues-Thurs.  At this time Nikki is not accepting new clients.

Jacque started her career at The Beehive after moving to Elk Rapids from Traverse City.  She has over 6 years experience and  a master at all the latest color trends and cuts.  She is available Tues-Friday

Katie has over 15 years of experience with extensive Aveda training.  Her sweet disposition and caring nature (along with the best scalp massage) is a testament to her clients coming back year after year.  Katie is available Tues, Thurs, Friday, Sat

Kally has been with The Beehive since it's opening.  She has over 15yrs experience and is a master at creative color techniques and cuts.  

When Kally isn't busy raising her two baby girls she is available on Wednesdays only at this time.

Lonna is our newest Bee to join the hive.  She has over 6 years of experience and is in the process of advancing her Aveda knowledge with ongoing training.  She is available Tues, Wed, Fri and will increase her schedule as needed. 

Ann is our all around Queen Bee!  She keeps the salon running smooth and spotless.  She is also Nikki's mother.  Ann spent her career as a quality control specialist in the automotive industry and retired in 2014.  She now spends her time as a "snowbird"  between Elk Rapids and Florida.
